2008 Miss Universe Winner Miss Japan Not in Sex Tape
The other woman said to have appeared in a "stolen" sex tape of Miss Trinidad and Tobago, Anya Ayoung-Chee, is not believed to be 2008 Miss Universe winner, Miss Japan Hiroko Mima. Early rumors suggested it could have been.
Anya Ayoung-Chee's boyfriend, Wyatt Gallery, denied the other woman was Miss Japan.
Gallery went on to claim the video was swiped from his laptop while at a repair shop in Trinidad. The video itself, he reportedly told TMZ, was shot back in 2007.
"I feel horrible and embarrassed for Anya, her family and myself," he told TMZ, and suggested the leaking of the tape was done intentionally to damage her career.
Miss Japan won the beauty pageant as one of the biggest long shots in gambling history (60-1). The Miss Universe Pageant is among the more heavily bet on entertainment events.
