The latest Academy Awards 2010 odds for Best Actress available at Sportsbetting.com (see website here) still had Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep neck and neck to win Sunday morning. The only difference being that Bullock was a slightly bigger favorite requiring a $3 bet to win $1 (1/3 odds). Just as with any other bet, the $3 is refunded only if Bullock wins.
There is nominal risk and better value when it comes to Meryl Streep, a favorite among the Hollywood community. She would pay out $2 for every $1 bet.
Gabby Sidibe just walked off with a Spirit Award for Best Actress and she would pay out $27 for every $4 wagered if an Oscar upset is in the cards.
Most of the money being bet is on Bullock according to Sportsbetting.com.
