Caitlyn Jenner Meme Coin scored over $100 million in trading volume less than 24 hours after going live this past weekend.  But there is one small concern.  Is the coin actually related to Jenner?

There has been a lot of discussion of hacks involving celebrity social media platform accounts.  But Jenner's account continued to promote the token, even releasing a video that appeared to confirm its authenticity.

“Nothing has been hacked,” a post read. “We will be solely focused on $Jenner and expect to hit $50m market cap in the first 24 hours,” another said.

“This is real. Get involved,” Jenner said in the purported video. “My new crypto coin.”

Market observers viewed the meme coin with some degree of skepticism considering celebrities have gotten into trouble promoting similar coins in the past.

But the gambling public does believe it's for real as Polymarket indicates just 9% think the account was hacked with some $1,395,144 wagered thus far.

Polymarket Rules for resolving this market:

This market will resolve to "Yes" if definitive evidence is released that Caitlyn Jenner's X account @Caitlyn_Jenner, https://x.com/Caitlyn_Jenner, was hacked, meaning that the recent tweet(s) about $JENNER were posted without her consent or authorization. This market will resolve to "No" otherwise. This market will resolve to "No" immediately if Caitlyn Jenner personally and verifiably confirms that she was not hacked. If no definitive evidence is released prior to Tuesday, May 28, 2024, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No."

This market will resolve according to official statements from Caitlyn Jenner or a consensus of credible reporting.
