Bookmaker.com, the oldest established North American facing online sports betting company, published odds on Tuesday as to which state will be the first to legalize marijuana

The only state odds available currently were California, Arizona and South Dakota.

There is legislation pending to legalize medical marijuana in the state of South Dakota and Arizona.  Residents in both states will vote on medical marijuana ballot initiatives this November.

And California is....well.....California.

There are no favorites.  Each of the three states would pay out $12.50 for every $10 bet.

The legalization must take place in 2010.
