While Kirsty Alley is capable of drawing headlines, this season’s Dancing With The Stars ensemble is noticeably low key (and some would argue dull)
Still, fans tuned into the premiere episode of the high rated celebrity dance competition. The two-hour premiere drew 22.3 million total viewers, according to the Nielsen Co. These numbers were an improvement over the 21.3 million for last September's Season 11 premiere.
“The playing field is more level and that could help maintain interest,” suggests Gambling911.com Senior Editor, Payton O’Brien, who noted that past seasons of Dancing With The Stars typically feature someone with previous dance or gymnastics experience such as Jennifer Grey or Kristi Yamaguchi.
