Coming in as the favorite to win Best Sound Mixing was “Mad Max: Fury Road” at -125 as the technical favorite but in no way a “lock”. “The Revenant” was coming in at EVEN odds. Other nominees included “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” at 14-1 odds, “The Martian” at 35-1 odds and “Bridge of Spies” at 70-1.
Best Sound Editing odds had “Mad Max: Fury Road” with a slightly better advantage at -165 but “The Revenant” was with EVEN odds here as well.
“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” had odds of 9-1, “The Martian” was coming in at 22-1 odds and “Sicario” was at 77-1 odds.
