Oscars 2011: Odds to win Best Visual Effects, Adapted Screenplay, Original Screenplay
As we get closer to the Oscars 2011, Gambling911.com has found the latest odds to win the “Best Visual Effects”, “Best Adapted Screenplay” and “Best Original Screenplay”.
These more obscure categories tend to offer better payout odds when compared to the primary Oscar categories such as “Best Picture” and “Best Actor”.
This isn’t so much the case with the “Best Visual Effects” and “Best Adapted Screenplay” categories where Inception is the -1600 “lock” for “Visual Effects” while The Social Network is an absolutely sick -5000 favorite to win “Adapted Screenplay”.
While it is true that the “Best Original Screenplay” favorite, David Seidler for The Kings Speech, comes in as a pretty big favorite at -1000, in Oscars Land, this is not necessarily a “lock” per se.
