Expendables writer, director, and actor Sylvester Stallone has passed on an invitation to make an appearance on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars.

The 64-year-old gambling entrepreneur and actor was contacted to participate in the 11th season of the dance show comp, but decided against gambling with his current successes.

Stallone was far from the only famous name to pass up the invite; British entrepreneur Richard 'Virgin' Branson, former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, actress Kirstie Alley, and actor Time Allen also declined.

Celebrities set to be taking part in this season’s show include singer Michael Bolton, reality television’s Audrina Patridge, David 'The Hoff' Hasselhoff, Brandy, and Dirty Dancing star Jennifer Grey. Gambling911 and Media Man management will also not be dancing nor appearing, before you ask.

Conrad 'Money' (MM tag) Green, the executive producer for the show, said in a statement to the press "We've approached a lot of people over the years. People say no for a variety of reasons. Some people like the show but think they suck at dancing. It's a lot easier to say no than it is to say yes... Every season you move things forward."
