With disgraced golfer Tiger Woods set to offer a public apology via a carefully scheduled (and some say strategically scheduled) news conference Friday at 11 am EST, the online gambling public awaits with baited breath.

The oldest established online gambling firm, Bookmaker.com, began taking bets on what Tiger Woods would say, how many times he would say it (i.e. "sex addiction") and whether Tiger would shed a tear in the process.

Payouts could be generous though the favorites required some significant risk.

Among the best paying bets:

Tiger Woods mentions "sex addiction" more than 5 times pays out $250 on a $100 bet.

Tiger Woods announces he is getting a divorce pays out $200 for every $100 bet.

Tiger Woods wife attends the press conference actually would pay out nearly $200 for every $100 bet if it DOES NOT HAPPEN.

Tiger Woods does not cry would pay close to $200.

Should he announce his retirement, the payout would be $600.
