What Are The Odds on Who Will Replace David Letterman (Video)

Sportsbook.com released betting odds on who will replace the longest running late night talk show host David Letterman.  Those odds were available here.

Letterman announced his retirement plans during taping of his Thursday night show, saying he will step down in 2015.  He has served as host of the “Late Show” for 21 years and hosted NBC’s “Late Night” for 11 years prior to his move to CBS.

“For 21 years, David Letterman has graced our network’s air in late night with wit, gravitas and brilliance unique in the history of our medium,” said CBS Chairman Leslie Moonves. “It’s going to be tough to say goodbye. Fortunately, we won’t have to do that for another year or so. Until then, we look forward to celebrating Dave’s remarkable show and incredible talents.”

The frontrunner to replace Letterman, according to the oddsmakers, is Stephen Colbert at +350, with a payout potential of $35 for every $10 bet. Jon Stewart and Chelsea Handler had the next shortest odds at 6/1, nearly double that of Colbert.
