Any day now and Kate Middleton’s baby should be born. The folks at Paddy Power are offering odds on everything from Will and Kate’s first child’s name, to hair colour to first word spoken.
The date of birth and weight of first child odds were also being offered.
There are long term odds being offered as well such as the Royal couple’s second baby, name of Baby #1’s first girlfriend/boyfriend, first official overseas visit, age at first nightclub visit photograph and the new Royal Baby’s career choice.
The name odds are among the most popular with Alexandra the favorite with a price of 9/4.
Rory Scott, U.K. public relations manager at Paddy Power, explained to CNBC the rationale behind making Alexandra the odds-on favorite. Alexandra is Queen Elizabeth's middle name, and also the name of Prince William's godmother.
Scott also revealed to CNBC that, when it comes to the Royal Baby betting, "that's where a lot of the money is coming in" for his company at the moment.
