Underdog Fantasy: 'We Got Our Guy', Signs on Bill Belichick

Legendary NFL coach Bill Belichick has a new job, and it's with an organization we would least expect perhaps.

Daily fantasy sports site Underdog Fantasy signed on the former New England Patriots coach.

"We got our guy," the Underdog Fantasy Twitter account proclaimed, featuring a now deleted video.

The site will feature a weekly podcast with Belichick offering game previews.

Underdog Fantasy becomes Belichick's fourth media deal in so many months.

'I partner with Underdog because Underdog is a sports company run by sports people,' Belichick said in the minute-long intro video promoting the website.

'They want sports to connect to the fans and that's what I want to do. I want to find a connection to the fans what they've asked me for in terms of content — behind-the-scenes information, decision making that goes on within the organization and a breakdown of schematics and personnel within the game. Bring all this real football conversations and decisions to the fans.

'Underdog wants to do that, I want to do that, so it was a great fit. Really looking forward to the opportunity to work with Underdog and their producers. They've given me the opportunity to give the fans what they want, and that's my goal.'

What's more interesting here is that Underdog Fantasy and NFL darling partners FanDuel and DraftKings have engaged in a pretty nasty battle of late.

"We founded Underdog for a simple reason: to build games for American sports fans to increase their enjoyment of sports.

"As you may have seen, the right to play our fantasy sports contests has recently come under attack. The attention is not organic - it's being directly fueled by the companies with a virtual monopoly in sports gaming: FanDuel and DraftKings.
