Bookmaker.com revealed Sunday night that the most betting action for Monday's World Cup games was coming in at least two big underdogs. Denmark in particular seemed a bit startling as they would pay out US$58.50 for every US$10.00 bet at the oldest North American facing online sports betting site (which, Gambling911.com should point out, takes bets from across the globe). Cameroon and Paraguay were the next most bet on though Cameroon was not an underdog.
"It is in that precise order, Denmark being the most bet on side of the day," confirms Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.
Paraguay would pay US$26.50 for every US$10 bet. Italy still had value at +110, paying US$11 for every US$10 bet.
Bookmaker.com is well known for catering heavy to the so-called "wise guys" or professional sports bettors.
While Cameroon was getting heavy one-sided action at recreational books, both Italy and Netherlands were seeing the most action in their respective matchups from the casual sports bettor.
