France and Uruguay play one another on Friday with FIFA World Cup 2010 odds set at France EVEN and Uruguay paying US$23 for every US$10 bet at SBG Global

France would pay out nearly US$130 for every US$10 bet if they were to go onto win the 2010 World Cup.  Uruguay, on the other hand, would pay out US$900 for every US$10 bet.

France struggled in the qualifiers and nearly missed out on the FIFA World Cup 2010 following Thierry Henry's now infamous ‘Hand of Frog' incident against Ireland.  France has a good record of getting things right when it comes to Cup time.

Patrice Evra is the man who comes under the spotlight, according to Sports Illustrated. The dependable right back has grown into a world-class player and his experiences in the Premier League will serve him well heading to SA. He has a great turn of pace for a man in the backline, enjoys getting forward, but at the same time never neglects his defensive duties.

The one to watch is Yoan Gourcuff, Sports Illustrated points out. The talented midfielder has shot to prominence after strong showings for his club side Bordeaux over the last few seasons. This season, however, has arguably been his best.

Uruguay - La Celeste (The Sky Blue) - is the big long shot, as noted by the +9000 odds.

Diego Forlan is undisputedly the most famous modern footballer to hail from Uruguay. Young defender Martin Caceres is an exciting prospect. The 23-year-old Juventus ace (on loan from Barcelona) is primarily a centre back, but can slot in on the right or left of defence with consummate ease, Sports Illustrated points out.
