The prospects of an England early World Cup exit have some creative oddsmakers taking novelty bets, one of which makes Frank Lampard the favorite to be photographed laying out at the beach first.

With England getting eliminated in their Sunday World Cup showdown against a very potent German team, Paddy Power, Ireland's leading online bookmaker, has begun to offer odds on the first English player snapped at the beach.  Frank Lampard came in as the favorite with odds of 3/1.

Type in "Frank Lampard Beach" into Google Image Search and it's easy to understand why Paddy might make him the odds-on favorite.

He is followed closely by John Terry.

Type his name into Google Image Search along with the word "Beach" and it is also easy to see why he would be listed with 4/1 odds.

Steven Gerrard wasn't too far behind with odds of 5/1.  He too had plenty of beach shots.

Jermain Defoe is so far the hero for England at this year's World Cup having scored the last and only goal that got his team into the next stage.  He will probably be forgiven if shot first on the beach.  His girlfriend even predicts he'll score again.

She just happens to be a hot model so beach photos of these two are a good bet, especially at 6/1 odds.

Wayne Rooney was a bit of a long shot at 8/1 odds.

Type in "Wayne Rooney Beach" and you could see why he might be struggling a bit in South Africa right now being that he's a bit out of shape.

Oddly enough there are probably more photos of Rooney on the beach than any of this teammates.
