USA vs. Belgium World Cup betting odds have USA as a 3/1 underdog to beat Belgium at Sportsbook.com.  That’s a far cry from the 8/1 odds being offered up on the Americans to beat Germany in order to advance to the Round of 16.

The United States reached the knockout stage of consecutive World Cups for the first time even with a loss to Germany.  That's because Portugal failed to win by the required goal differential.

"Obviously it's a huge achievement by our team to come through that group and qualify for the knockout stage," U.S. coach Jurgen Klinsmann said.

While Germany was the 3nd biggest favorite to win the 2014 World Cup outright after Brazil and Argentina, Belgium was one of the few other teams with single digit odds to do so, opening at 7-1.

The Germans, three-time World Cup champions, finished with seven points, while the U.S. had four after allowing a 95th-minute goal against Portugal on Sunday in a 2-2 draw.

This one will be played on Tuesday at 4 pm EST.
