Garcia wrote on Instagram that Mayweather wanted a genuine professional fight, not an exhibition, and claimed they had agreed to publicize their discussions.
Garcia opened as a -400 favorite Thursday morning at Betonline, while Mayweather comes back as a +300 dog.
Definitely a strange spot for a man who has never been the underdog in any way that mattered. But the numbers reflect reality.
