The 10 College Football Schools for Sports Bettors, Bookies – 2016 Edition

It doesn’t matter how poor a season might be anticipated, the sports betting community and bookies around these 10 college football campuses will always be in high demand, their fan bases rabid.

While there aren’t a whole lot of studies to show how extensive sports wagering is in conjunction with the popularity of a particular school’s College Football or College Basketball program, any bookie or Pay Per Head operator knows that certain teams see more action than others and the vast majority of that action comes from the region in which the school is based.

Tuscaloosa, Alabama and its surrounding area serves as a prime example.  Once again this season - and it seems like practically ever recent season - the University of Alabama’s Crimson Tide are favored to win the 2017 National College Football Championship game.
