The following 2010 Week 1 College Football spreads were available at betED.com (see spreads here).  These were for the major upcoming games Thursday thru Monday.

Southern Mississippi +14 South Carolina – Depending on the book, one side was getting heavier action than the other.  Recreational gambling websites like betED.com were seeing mostly 60/40 action in favor of South Carolina.

When it comes to 2010 Week 1 College Football spreads, USC is getting tremendous lopsided action and we expect the spread to get even larger.  They opened at -19 and were now at -21 ½ at betED.com.

North Carolina +6 ½ LSU is the biggest game going Saturday with the most action thus far coming in on LSU at a 95 percent clip.

Other prominent games going off on Saturday include Oregon State +13 ½ at TCU and Connecticut +3 vs. Michigan.

The biggest game of the Week 1 College Football is going to be Boise State vs. Virginia Tech, which sees Boise State as the +2 road favorite.  Early action is evenly balanced between the two teams.
