These 2010 Week 12 NFL Power Rankings are provided by Gambling911.com and are based on current odds to win the 2011 Super Bowl.  The ( ) indicates last week’s position.

One of the most significant observations this week is that the shortest payout odds were 7/1, which is somewhat unprecedented at this point during the NFL season and is indicative of a wide open playing field.

For a year in which the power rankings positions have moved so little, with the exception of the number one spot, this week’s number one is especially interesting.  The Philadelphia Eagles move up 9 spots from number 10, having just entered the top 10 last week.  They take over the number one spot.  It is the first time Gambling911.com has seen such a huge jump into the top spot.

Also note that the Giants experienced one of the biggest drops:  Down from number 2 to number 10.

*1 Philadelphia Eagles (10)– Pay $700 for every $100 bet to win the 2011 Super Bowl.  Last week they were listed with payout odds of 14/1.

*2 New England Patriots (6) – Pay $725

*3 Green Bay Packers (1) – Pay $700

*4 Baltimore Ravens (3) – Pay $900

*5 Pittsburgh Steelers (4) – Pay $900

*6 Atlanta Falcons (7) – Pay $925

*7 New York Jets (5) – Pay $950

*8 New Orleans Saints (9) – Pay $1000

*9 Indianapolis Colts (8) – Pay $1200

*10 New York Giants (2) – Pay $1300
