Having gone 2-1 with my three underdog picks last week, I am back with my 2010 Week 2 NFL picks and some tough one’s at that.  These are the teams the public is avoiding and the books will need to have a winning Sunday.  This is Carrie Stroup reporting for Gambling911.com.

Jets fans are gonna love me as I am taking New York at home at +3, another home underdog.  I can guarantee you that had the Jets beaten Baltimore at home last week, they would not be an underdog against New England. Only 10 percent of the action is on the Jets coming into Sunday.  The online sportsbooks will need New England to win here.  They are getting the most action of any other NFL side right now.

The Lions at +6 ½is the second of my 2010 Week 2 NFL picks and it’s a side the online sportsbooks will be wanting to cover badly.  Philadelphia comes to town as the heavily shaded road favorite.  Perhaps the 90 percent of betting action coming on the Eagles is a result of Matthew Stafford going out last Sunday (and he won’t be playing), but did these bettors not see how Detroit held on and – dare I say it – really won against Chicago on the road.

Last but not least, I am onthe 49ers to cover New Orleans at home Sunday night at +6.  88 percent of you were on New Orleans as of Saturday night and the sportsbooks will want this action to balance out more since it is likely to be the most wagered on game of the week when all is said and done.

So there you have it, my 2010 Week 2 NFL picks.  Good luck this Sunday!
