Carrie Stroup here with my 2010 Week 4 NFL predictions.  So far I am 6-3 on the season with all nine of my plays being on the underdog.  Let’s see if this week we have any exceptions.

As most of you know, I make my picks as if I were running an actually sportsbook myself.  The idea of course is that the house never loses.  Well, they do, but not over the long haul.  So in order for this system to have any degree of success, you have to bet all of these plays, and throughout the 2010 NFL season.

I look at the top 2 to 4 sides or totals getting the most lopsided action plus heavy volume.

This week, The Texans are getting 93 percent of the action in Oakland as +3 underdogs.  I can understand why the public would be eating this line up, however, the oddsmakers have done little to encourage betting on the home team Raiders, even though the line opened at +4.  Gotta go with Oakland here at +3 at Sportsbook.com.

The Indianapolis Colts were getting 80 percent of the betting action vs. the home team Jaguars.  I’m on Jacksonville here to cover at +7.

The Jets are getting more than 90 percent of the betting action against the Bills and this week I say Buffalo has a shot at winning or at least covering the spread of +6 ½.

There you have it.  Good luck everyone!
