Speaking to ESPN’s George Smith, Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher expressed doubts that the 2011 Hall of Fame Game scheduled for August 7 between the Bears and St. Louis Rams would take place even if the NFL lockout is settled this week.

"I think the Hall of Fame Game is a no go even if we get it done today," he said, adding that "we still have to have time for free agency and all that stuff."

The Bears were scheduled to open training camp Friday.

NFL owners planned to vote on whether to accept a new labor agreement beginning at 6 p.m. ET Thursday July 21, ending the months long lockout.

Few if any of the online sportsbooks were offering betting odds on the preseason schedule, including the most wagered on of the summer matchups, the Hall of Fame game.
