Spring training seems to suggest that this Alabama Crimson Tide team will be the deepest heading into the 2017 College Football season. At 3-1 odds of winning the College Football National Championship, the value is tremendous early on and you may want to lock this price in now. And Week 1 we should have an understanding just how good this team will be the remainder of the season as they face off against another power house, FSU.
We saw this in Spring training: Jalen Hurts passing for 301 yards and Tua Tagovailoa passing for 315.
Hurts will start for the Crimson Tide in 2017 but the fact that they have a capable backup quarterback should make fans and bettors alike feel pretty good heading into the new College Football season. Alabama has been a perennial national title contender under Nick Saban and that is going to no doubt continue.
Hurts, by the way, was coming in at 16-1 odds of winning the Heisman Trophy this upcoming season.
