Christian McCaffrey

The Monday Night Football matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and San Francisco 49ers should draw plenty of wagering action to the sportsbooks, prediction markets and independent bookies.

Jonathan Taylor had 25 rushes for 87 yards in the Colts’ Week 15 loss against the Seahawks, adding three catches for 14 yards.

He is priced high at -260 to score a touchdown at any point during this game.

From NBC Edge:

Taylor was predictably the centerpiece of the Colts offense with 44-year-old Philip Rivers under center for the first time since 2020. The Colts had 29 rushing attempts and 27 passes in this one. Rivers peppered the team’s short-area pass catchers with targets: Tyler Warren led the way with six targets, Taylor had four targets, and veteran RB Ameer Abdullah had five targets, leading the Colts with five grabs for 32 yards. That’s a little deceiving considering Abdullah ran a mere six pass routes on the day. Taylor logged 18 routes. Taylor is the one Colts player who might survive the Rivers experience. He gets the 49ers in Week 16.

Christian McCaffrey is also priced rather high to have a touchdown at -200.

McCaffrey rushed 22 times for 73 yards and a touchdown in the 49ers’ Week 15 win over the Titans.

McCaffrey popped up on the injury report with a back injury late in the week, but was able to suit up on Sunday. It seems likely that he was operating at less than 100 percent because this was not his best effort, averaging just over three yards per rush. He did break a few tackles, but he had a long rush of just nine yards, was not a factor in the receiving game, and was stuffed twice in the red zone late in the third quarter. Hopefully, a light week of practices will allow him to bounce back to his RB1 ceiling in week 15 against the Colts.

George Kittle pays $120 for every $100 bet to score a touchdown in Monday night's game.

Kittle caught 8-of-9 targets for 88 yards and a touchdown in the 49ers’ Week 15 win over the Titans.

As usual, Kittle was a key to the 49ers’ offense. He led the team in targets and catches while finishing second in receiving yards on the day. He didn’t need to do much in the second half with the 49ers up multiple touchdowns for much of the game, but he looks every bit the elite tight end he always has. Next week’s game against the Colts will likely be a bit closer, which would mean a potential top-five tight end outing from Kittle.
