The AFC East Division odds for 2013 are analyzed by Don Best TV.  They look at the Patriots, Bills, Jets and Dolphins.

Starting with the Bills, the quarterback situation should see an upgrade.

“Defensively, there is massive room for improvement,” Brian Blessing suggested.  “They might be surprisingly good,” he added.

Bruce Marshall noted that “they need upgrades there.”

As for the Miami Dolphins, “I think things are looking up for Miami,” Marshall said.

He believes their defense will improve.

With the New England Patriots, the tight end situation will be an issue and Wes Welker moving to the Broncos will hurt but neither Blessing or Marshall are prepared to write off the Pats.

Bookmaker odds to win the AFC East Division had New England as a favorite at -400.  No value here.

Look at the Dolphins at close to 5/1 odds or the Buffalo Bills at a solid 13/1.  The Jets at 20-1 odds probably don’t stand a chance but they will certainly get some action from New York area futures bettors.
