The Alabama Auburn line was coming in at -21 in favor of the Crimson Tide.  Alabama is ranked number 2 in the nation while Auburn had a winning record of 7-4.  Spread action was relatively balanced for this game.

Auburn has lost by more than the current spread against teams that were ranked this season but those games were all played on the road.  Alabama has won two of the last three in this series, losing by a single point last season.  Auburn was a +4.5 road dog in that game.

BetOnline.com analyst Blake Frazier believes Alabama will win this game, but he does not believe they will be capable of covering the 21 point spread.

“It’s definitely Alabama’s game to lose, and it’s hard to imagine the Tide failing on Saturday. Trent Richardson is too good a running back; he will get the tough yards Alabama needs to win this game. However, a blowout seems unlikely. Auburn will stay close because the Tide can’t throw.”
