Alabama Crimson Tide

We're still a few days away from this game but the Alabama Crimson Tide are getting most of the betting action as they play Virginia Tech as a -6 favorite at Bookmaker.com.  We should note that nearly every other online bookmaker was offering Alabama at -6 ½ so you would want to get this one at Bookmaker.com.  Should Alabama win by 6 points, it's a push and you won't lose your bet.

The line history on this game has been rather interesting to date.

The Las Vegas Hilton opened Alabama as a -5 favorite, dropped the line to -4 ½ for nearly two hours then moved it back up to -5.  By the next day they were up to -6 ½ and peaked at -7.  The Hilton did offer the line on Alabama at -6 as this story was going out to press.

Gambling911.com notes that while Bookmaker.com was offering the -6 line on Alabama throughout much of the day Wednesday, the trend has been to move to -6 ½ and -7 even at Bookmaker.  So you'll need to lock in the Crimson Tide -6 as soon as you see it.
