Arizona Cardinals vs. New Orleans Saints

The Arizona Cardinals vs. New Orleans Saints line opened at New Orleans -7 at Bookmaker.com.

Following the most scored points in any Playoffs game between two teams, the Cardinals walk off with a win against Green Bay Sunday.  Unlike other Wildcard Playoffs games of the weekend, the Packers at Cardinals showdown turned out to be a competitive affair, ending in overtime.  The Cardinals failed to convert a field goal at the end of regulation but managed to score on a Packers turnover.  If you happened to have the OVER in this game, congrats!

Karlos Dansby's 17-yard fumble return for a touchdown in overtime gave the Cardinals a 51-45 victory over the Packers.

Aaron Rodgers, who started the game with an interception but was marvelous after that, was stripped by Michael Adams. The ball careened off Rodgers' foot and into the hands of Dansby, who ran untouched for the score.

Rodgers flung his helmet to the sideline in disgust as the reigning NFC champion Cardinals rushed the field to celebrate.

It brought an abrupt end to a sensational passing duel to rival any the NFL has seen between the playoff newcomer Rodgers and the old master Kurt Warner.

Incidentally, there were rumors throughout the day that Warner would retire after this season.
