Arizona Cardinals vs. San Francisco 49ers odds opened at Arizona -1 ½ as the away favorite and the line has since shifted to -3 ½ at Hollywood Sportsbook.com with nearly 75 percent of the public backing the Cardinals.

Last year's NFC champions, the Cardinals continue to quietly build their record.

They come into this game having just beaten a very good Minnesota Vikings team at home and claim an 8-4 record.  There is a revenge factor here since the Cardinals were embarrassed at home during Week 1 by the 49ers.

Last week, the Cardinals avoided suffering their first back-to-back losses, and they've outscored opponents 130-76 following a loss this season (4-0).

Kurt Warner had a 2-yard TD pass to Anquan Boldin, which is his 18th TD pass in the red zone this season.

Larry Fitzgerald had 143 receiving yards and a touchdown. His 10 receiving TDs lead the NFL and he became the first player in franchise history to record three consecutive seasons with 10+ TDs.

"They played like they were in the Super Bowl last year," Vikings Quarterback Brett Favre said after his team lost to Arizona, "and we obviously have to play better if we want to be the team that's in the Super Bowl this year."

Meanwhile, after a promising start to the season, the San Francisco 49ers continue to skid, losing last week to the Seattle Seahawks. Alex Smith threw for a career-high 310 yards last week, his first 300-yard game.  That wasn't enough to secure the win.  They come into this game with a 5-7 record.

The Cardinals are 6-4 against the 49ers in this series.
