Arkansas vs. Texas A&M Odds

The Arkansas vs. Texas A&M odds had the Razorbacks as a -5 favorite playing on a neutral field.  With 85 percent of the action coming their way in this game, the Razorbacks were the third most bet on team of the Week 6 College Football weekend.  Both teams come into this game 3-1.  This game goes off at 3:30 pm EST, providing ample enough time in which to bet.

Some books opened the line in this game at -8 ½ and it can be presumed that Texas A&M got hit early with “sharp” action.

The Scout’s Edge, however, gives Arkansas a huge point differential in its prediction on this game:

Jerrod Johnson will make enough plays with his arm and feet to keep the Aggies in this game in the first half, but he will have to shoulder too much of the offensive load for A&M to win. The reason is Texas A&M's relatively young offensive line will have a difficult time opening up holes for the ground game and protecting Johnson. On the flipside, Arkansas will continue to have problems establishing the run, but the passing attack will more than make up for it. Look for Ryan Mallett to spread the ball around to his playmakers and exploit any breakdowns in the coverage as the Razorbacks pull away in the second half and win comfortably.

Prediction: Razorbacks 35, Aggies 21

As alluded to earlier, Arkansas vs. Texas A&M will take place on a neutral field, Cowboys Stadium, though the Razorbacks might not exactly consider that neutral.  Texas A&M is approximately 3 hours south of Dallas.

"We're excited to go back to Dallas," Razorbacks coach Bobby Petrino said. "It was a lot of fun last year with the unbelievable atmosphere and an unbelievable stadium to play in. I think we have 26 guys on our roster from the state of Texas so getting to go back there and playing is a great deal for us. We are certainly looking forward to it."

Arkansas destroyed Texas A&M last season by a score of 47-19.   The Razorbacks, however, are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 non-conference games.

We would note that the Aggies are 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 games as an underdog of 3.5-10.0, 0-6 ATS in their last 6 neutral site games, 0-4-1 ATS in their last 5 vs. SEC and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 neutral site games as an underdog.
