NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell claims that Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has violated NFL policy.

News comes in the wake of two allegations by females against Big Ben in recent months.

"The issue here is respect to a pattern of behavior," Goodell said without elaborating as to whether Roethlisberger would be suspended.

Last week, prosecutors in Georgia declined to charge Roethlisberger after a college student accused him of sexual assault in March.  The Steelers quarterback is being sued by another woman who claimed he raped her in a Lake Tahoe hotel room.

When asked on the Dan Patrick Show about reports that a decision could be announced Monday or Tuesday, Goodell would not commit to a timeline. "I make the decision when I'm prepared to do so," he said.

On paper, the Pittsburgh Steelers look like the team to beat in the AFC North and they continue to have short odds of winning the 2011 AFC Championship at 6/1 at Sportsbetting.com (see website here).
