Houston has won the last five games in this series dating back to 2008.  There have been a mix of close and wide margin wins but the Texans have covered in the last six games of this series.

Cincinnati holds a record of 6-3-1 Straight Up and 5-4-1 Against The Spread while Houston is at 5-5 Straight Up and 6-4 ATS.

The Bengals are 13-5 Against The Spread  in their last 18 games after allowing less than 15 points in their previous game.

The Texans, meanwhile, are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games following a S.U. win and 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games after accumulating more than 150 yards rushing in their previous game.

On the daily fantasy front, The Bengals Jeremy Hill has been an outstanding replacement for Giovani Bernard, topping 20 carries in two of the last three games.

Cincinnati’s AJ Green has garnered double-digit fantasy points all season with the exception of one game against Cleveland.

The Bengals have allowed only four WR receiving touchdowns over the past eight games and this could spell trouble for DeAndre Hopkins despite a stellar performance his last game.

When it comes to quarterbacks, the Bengals Andy Dalton has averaged a subpar 211 passing yards per game this season.  AJ Green’s return could help improve Dalton’s performance.

Houston’s Ryan Mallett enjoyed a solid debut last week against Cleveland but faces a Cincinnati team that has nearly as many interceptions (10) as TD passes allowed (11) this season.

Betting action on the Bengals-Texans game was balanced at 50/50.

NFL betting used to be built mostly around teams. Bettors looked at spreads, totals, moneylines, injuries, weather and coaching matchups. Those pieces are still there, but the modern football betting board is much more player-driven than it used to be.
