Bet The Bills vs. Jets – 2012 Week 1 NFL

For anyone looking to place a bet on the Bills vs. Jets game in Week 1 of the 2012 NFL regular season, the line had visiting Buffalo at +3 and getting 80 percent of the spread action.  All Week 1 NFL betting odds were available at Bookmaker.eu here, which was currently offering up to $2500 in FREE CASH for a limited time only to qualified new customers.

So down is the public on the Jets that their regular season wins total was seeing 70 percent on the UNDER 8.  Buffalo was seeing just the opposite with 80 percent of action on the OVER 8

New York has won the last five in this series and six of the last seven with Buffalo’s only win during this period coming in overtime.  Only in one of those wins have the Jets not covered the current spread.  There was one lone push.

It is interesting to note, however, that the road team is 8-1 Against the Spread in the last nine meetings.  More recently, however, the Bills are just 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 road games.

Another good little factoid is that Buffalo has gone 6-1 ATS in Week 1 of the regular NFL season over the past 7 years.

The Jets are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall.

Unless New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady ends up getting injured again, the Pats are huge favorites to win the AFC East Division at 1/5.  It is the Bills though that are seeing most of the action for this future wager at a 41 percent clip compared to New England at 19 percent and the Jets getting 24 percent.

Buffalo had odds of close to 5/1, New York had odds of 6/1 and Miami was listed at 20/1 odds.
