Bet on Taliese Fuaga Draft Position

Taliese Fuaga comes in with an over/under 15.5 selection in this year's NFL Draft.

The Oregon State Beavers product received the following accolades in 2023:

Second-team Associated Press All-American. First-team All-Pac-12 Conference. Finalist for the Polynesian College Football Player of the Year. Started 12 games at RT.

NFL.com offered up this analysis of the Beavers offensive tackle:

"Beefy right tackle capable of playing at a high level despite his lack of ideal pad level and lower-body bend. Fuaga plays with a fairly aggressive disposition. He’s a one-pop blocker who struggles to clinch into his run blocks and is therefore forced to work overtime to sustain and finish. The pass protection technique is outstanding, and he possesses the athleticism to mirror and match edge-to-edge rush movements. Fuaga’s hand work is exceptional in pass pro and will need to remain so, because of his lack of desired range for recovering when beaten. A team could slide him to guard to improve its interior protection, but he’s best-suited at right tackle, where he should become a good starter."

CBSsports.com’s Cody Benjamin projects Fuaga going at No. 11 with the Chargers, well below the 15.5 total posted.

“After collecting additional picks in the projected deal with Minnesota, Jim Harbaugh’s Chargers opt to bolster the trenches for Justin Herbert. Fuaga’s combo of size, speed and explosiveness could allow him to start immediately at right tackle.”
