For those of you betting on the NFL this week we got a good one courtesy of the fine folks at BetDSI.com.

The 2010 NFC best team in the regular season, the Atlanta Falcons, have a lot to prove this week; they are 2-3 and can’t fall any deeper as they take on Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers this Sunday. You can bet on football at BetDSI.com; the best bonuses are at BetDSI.

The Falcons have won their last three meetings against the Panthers, and four of the last five games, but they are just four points favorites in the NFL betting odds, do you know why? Well, yeah, they have been playing really poorly.

Atlanta has missed center Todd McClure (knee) for over the past two weeks that have meant quarterback Matt Ryan has had poor protection; in fact, he has been sacked 14 times this season, ending in six interceptions thrown by the skinny quarterback.

"I need to play better," Ryan said. "All our guys need to play better. That's what we're trying to do."

Also, the Atlanta Falcons need to run the ball better as Michael Turner have recorded 146 yards thru their last three games, combined.

On the other hand, there’s a team that have covered the NFL betting spread four times out of five this season, the Carolina Panthers. Cam Newton has become suck a difficult treat to contain that they ended up as your best bet with the points.

"We're real close, but close doesn't get you anywhere," Newton said. "And that's probably the most disheartening thing, knowing how close we are to getting that win and putting us back on the map."

Go to BetDSI and make you favorite NFL Picks, they’ll double your betting points from now and until the end of September.
