The Bills-Bengals line has opened at -3 with Buffalo the away favorite in Cincinnati at Bookmaker, North America’s oldest established online sportsbook.
The Bills are considered this season’s biggest surprise after upsetting mighty New England this past weekend and coming into their game against Cincinnati with a 3-0 record. Oddsmakers gave Buffalo OVER/UNDER odds of winning 5.5 regular season games prior to the new season.
The Pats had won 20 of the last 21 games against Buffalo.
“This was a huge win for the bookmakers,” noted Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com. “The line on this game had dropped three points over the course of a week.”
ESPN.com noted that the Bills are the 1st team in NFL history to win 2 consecutive games in which they trailed by at least 18 points in each. They trailed by 18 points to the Raiders in Week 2 and by 21 to the Patriots in Week 3.
