The Bills vs. Chargers spread opened at -4.5 in favor of San Diego.  The folks from Legends Sports have this one all the way at -9 while Bookmaker.eu was holding at -7, as were most of the online sportsbooks.  The Chargers were getting 70 percent of the backing on the spread.

Neither team appears to have a shot at making it into the Playoffs.  Both have identical records of 5-7.  San Diego was heavily favored to win the AFC West coming into the season and failed miserably down the stretch while the Bills seemingly overachieved early on in the season but have dropped their last five games.  San Diego snapped its 6 game losing streak last week with a big win in Jacksonville.

While the Chargers are 1-6 Against The Spread in their last 7 games overall, they are also 13-5 ATS in their last 18 games in December, and that trend could be continuing this season.

The Bills are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games as a road underdog of 3.5-10.0.  There are not a whole lot of historic trends that give Buffalo a significant edge or disadvantage coming into this game.

Let’s go right to the Don Best betting preview video below this advertisement....
