Boise State vs. Northwestern March Madness 2023

Boise State will face No. 7 seed Northwestern in the first round of this year's March Madness as a lower 10 seed.

The Broncos did go 24-9 Straight Up with a 16-14 record Against The Spread.

But be forewarned Broncos bettors.  Boise State is 0-8 in the NCAA Tournament.   They first appeared in 1976, then again in 1988, and managed a two-year streak in 1993 and 1994.  They have never appeared beyond two years in a row.  The Broncos are making their second straight appearance this year, we would note.

"I think it's becoming the norm in this program that we expect to go to the NCAA Tournament," Boise guard Max Rice said. "Obviously, we expect to win a game in the tournament. We expect to win multiple games in the tournament."

Boise State was the No. 2 seed in the Mountain West tournament and lost in the semifinals to Utah State.
