Having opened at some books at Green Bay -3.5, the Packers-Lions line had remained steady at -3 across the board with 76% of the action on the Packers.  It looked like Detroit was sailing towards an upset win until....“The Miracle in Motown"

Aaron Rodgers -- with all of his might -- launched a 61-yard bomb into the Ford Field end zone that tight end Richard Rodgers somehow came down with to give the Packers an improbable 27-23 victory after they trailed 20-0.

“This will be devastating should Green Bay cover here,” admitted one Costa Rican-based bookie earlier in the day.  “Last Thursday was also bad for us but Green Bay’s failed cover later in the day did help some.  We hope they come through again this week.”

Detroit, which was the last team to win a game this season, had been in a bit of a role of late, winning three straight including one on the road in Green Bay.

The Lions had actually won three of the last four games against the Packers coming into Thurday night's game.
