Bookies Make Out Big to Kick Off College Football: Aggies 40-1 to Win Championsh

The Texas A&M Aggies stunned South Carolina Thursday propelling the oddsmakers at Sportsbook.ag to slash their odds of winning the National Championship from 100-1 to 40-1.

65% of the betting public was backing South Carolina in a game that was seeing significant volume Thursday night.

Texas A&M defeated South Carolina on their own home turf by more than three touchdowns, 52-28.  The Gamecocks were a -10.5 favorite to win this game.

Pundits mostly wrote off the Aggies with the loss of Johnny Manziel and what was viewed as a porous defense.

Instead, Texas A&M could do no wrong.

Aggies new starting quarterback Kenny Hill broke Manziel’s record for single game passing.
