Books Get Nailed in Sunday NFL

A big Pittsburgh Steelers cover and later the Packers beating Seattle at home helped nail the coffin for bookies Sunday.

The Steelers and Packers were each seeing better than 80 percent of the action in their respective games, thus making for one of the worst weeks of the Football season for the books.

The Bills loss to Pittsburgh may also have nailed the coffin in Rex Ryan’s head coaching job in Buffalo as there were reports he might get the axe as early as Monday.

Other games Sunday were not as lopsided though a few books were seeing heavier action on the Broncos and Lions, neither of which covered their respective spreads.
