Bucs-Steelers Betting Line: Week 4 Fantasy Value for Le'Veon Bell, Antonio Brown
The Bucs-Steelers betting line had Pittsburgh as just a -7 home favorite, which is odd considering how poorly Tampa Bay played the week prior. Scroll down for the latest Week 4 lines on all games and the Fantasy value for Le'Veon Bell, Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown.
The line opened at -7.5 at some books and has been trending downwards. A few books shot this number all the way up to -9, but every briefly. Sagarin has the Steelers winning by no more than 5 points based on his calculations. Still, Gambling911.com suggests reviewing the Fantasy Player Values for three of the Steelers most potent stars and how they might stack up against Tampa Bay this weekend. It ain’t pretty on paper folks.
These two teams last met in 2010 with a bit Pittsburgh win on the road in that one. The Steelers were a -2 favorite at that time.
Tampa Bay gets back All-Pro tackle Gerald McCoy (broken hand), which should help this team get somewhat back on track.
Pittsburgh has their own injury woes, losing cornerback Ike Taylor (forearm/out indefinitely) and linebackers Ryan Shazier (knee) and Jarvis Jones (wrist).
Week 4 Fantasy Value – Le’Veon Bell: The Steelers' ground game should be helped along by Bell, who has 5.9 yards per carry. His 81 yard run in the second half was the longest run by a Steeler in 44 years. Bell is widely considered one of the biggest NFL Draft steals in the Fantasy Sports world and one of the best – if not the best – running backs in Fantasy. Bell should have little trouble with Tampa Bay’s defense.
Week 4 Fantasy Value – Ben Roethlisberger: ESPN.com notes: “It's hard to imagine Roethlisberger can match the near-perfect performance Matt Ryan laid on the Bucs, but it's a safe bet that he has an efficient showing against a unit that's allowed Ryan, Austin Davis and Derek Anderson to go a combined 67-of-87 for 751 yards and zero interceptions.”
Week 4 Fantasy Value – Antonio Brown: Brown has played 19 straight games where he’s caught at least five catches and has yet to post fewer than 90 yards per game this season. With Tampa Bay allowing four different players to hit at least 74 yards this season, one has to be all over Brown for their Fantasy League.
