BYU odds of winning the NCAA National Championship in 2015 were coming in at 90/1 at AceSportsbook.com.

BYU is expected to win at least 10 games in their respective conference.  The total was set at 9.5.

The Cougars are coming off two consecutive years of winning 8 games so an improvement is believed to be on the horizon based on what oddsmakers believe.

The return of 13 starters and a maturing quarterback in Taysom Hill does add value, but will it lead to a National Championship?  Probably not.

AthlonSports.com calls Hill “one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the nation, and junior running back Jamaal Williams could push for All-America honors with another 1,000-yard season”.

Looking at the schedule, BYU will likely have a tough time on the road in Texas and Boise State.  A road trip to UCF is a toss up.

If BYU can get past UCF, they should be able to win 10 regular season games in 2014.
