Cardinals vs. Vikings Betting Line at Minnesota -6.5: Spread Action Favors Home

The Cardinals vs. Vikings betting line opened at Minnesota -4.5 and has quickly moved up to -6.5 after Arizona has failed to capitalize on their fast start, losing the last two weeks. 61 percent of the spread betting action favored Minnesota here.  Bet from your mobile phones and collect up to $2000 in FREE CASH when you open an online betting account today at WagerWeb.com here (in business since 1995).

These are both 4-2 teams, however, Minnesota had enjoyed three consecutive wins after last week’s loss in Washington and, thus far, look like one of the big surprises of 2012.  Arizona looked like the surprise team prior to losing two weeks in a row, however.

The Vikings are 3-1 in this series dating back to 2008.  Minnesota won last year as a -3.5 home favorite by a score of 34-10.

One of the most mind-blowing stats Gambling911.com could come up with is Arizona as a 3.5 to 7 point underdog has failed to win outright in seven games over the last three seasons.  Against The Spread they are 2-5 over this period and there is some room to work with thanks to the 6.5 number.

In October games, the Cards are 2-8 ATS and it appears that trend may be coming into play once again if the past two weeks are any indicator.  We tend not to take these monthly trends too seriously though.

Some of this is offset by Minnesota’s negative trending, especially as it pertains to playing against a team with a winning record.  The Vikings are 1-13 Straight Up over the past three seasons when facing a team with a winning record.  They have only covered three of those times.  For the record, the Cardinals are just 3-8 ATS in their last 11 road games vs. a team with a winning home record.

When the total is between 38.5 and 42 points, the Vikings have managed to go 0-8 ATS.

Some more important Cardinals vs. Vikings betting trends include:

The Cardinals are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 vs. NFC.

The Cardinals are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a S.U. loss.

The Vikings are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games after accumulating more than 250 yards passing in their previous game.

The Vikings are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 home games.

Our bet is on Arizona to cover the +6.5 line especially with the knowledge that they are very much in the hunt to win the NFC West.  At press time, rivals San Francisco and Seattle were playing one another so we didn’t have an outcome on that game and the most updated standings.

49ers vs. Packers Betting Preview November 24

The 49ers are very much in the thick of things within the NFC West, as are all teams in this division.  Arizona leads 6-5 while the 49ers, Seahawks and Rams each own a record of 5-5.

Titans vs. Texans Betting Preview November 24

The Titans have won just two games this season, but even worse, they've covered in only one.  Tennessee prepares to take on the Houston Texans, a team that is 7-4 Straight Up and at the .500 mark Against The Spread.
