The Chargers-Jets spread was listed as high as +2 at some sportsbooks, both online and in Las Vegas.  It was the visiting Chargers who were the favorites here.  65 percent of those betting the spread were backing San Diego here.

San Diego is coming off of its bye week while the Jets got rid of a three-game losing streak with a win over Miami.  The bye week trend for San Diego offers no real edge in recent seasons or since 1992.

The Jets, who are currently at 3-3, beat San Diego on the road last year by 3 points.  The Chargers come into the Meadowlands with a record of 4-1.

As a road favorite of 3 points or less, the Chargers are 11-3 Against The Spread.

The Jets are 6-1 Against The Spread in their last 7 games as an underdog of 0.5-3.0 and are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games following a ATS win.

Let’s check out the video preview for the Chargers-Jets game from our friends at Don Best TV.
