The San Diego Chargers lost to the biggest underdogs in this year's Playoffs, The New York Jets, this past Sunday.  Rumors are now circulating that some of the Chargers players were out partying the Friday night before when they should have been resting.

Donn Shackelfurd of the Union Tribune acknowledged that some of the players (names omitted by Shacklefurd) were out until the wee hours of Saturday morning, presumably post-sunrise.

Shackelfurd does state that Nate Kaeding was not present.

Kaeding has come under fire for losing crucial kicks that cost the Chargers the game.

"They're young, single men. Would you love everyone to be Philip Rivers? Absolutely," Shackelfurd answers a man in his mailbag.

Prior to this loss, the San Diego Chargers had won 13 straight.
