Chicago Bears 2014 Betting Odds – To Win Super Bowl
The Chicago Bears 2014 betting odds had them as a favorite to win OVER 8.5 regular season games and this is good news for a team that plays in a tough NFC North division. Their odds of winning the 2015 Super Bowl were at 29-1. All odds were courtesy of BetDSI.com.
The defense took a giant step back last season whereas the offense improved under new head coach Marc Trestman. In fact, the Bears offense averaged 27.8 points per game with Jay Cutler as starting quarterback.
The weapons at Cutler’s disposal are excellent as he has two outstanding receivers in Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffrery and he has one of the top backs in football behind him in Matt Forte.
The worry here is that Cutler has not played a full season since 2009 and the Bears do not have a quality backup.
As for Chicago’s defense, they did make some improvements during the offseason but probably not enough to make the Bears a serious contender in a division that includes the Green Bay Packers.
