Michael Robinson of DonBest.com writes:

“Cutler has been accused of having a ‘million dollar arm and 10 cent head.’ His quarterback rating (58.6) is now ranked 31st after the Green Bay debacle and a mediocre performance (17-of-31 for 183 yards, no TDs and one pick) at St. Louis last week.

“Chicago won the St. Louis game 23-6 thanks to the defense allowing just 160 total yards and having a pick-six in the fourth quarter. The ‘D’ has been solid overall this year at 279 YPG (ranked sixth) and 16.7 PPG (ranked fifth).

“Coach Lovie Smith knows the offense needs to be a lot better on Monday. The problem is that running back Michael Bush (shoulder) is playing banged up and Matt Forte (ankle) is doubtful.

“The streaky Cutler has the ability to pass on any defense, but Dallas is second in the NFL in passing yards allowed (137 YPG). Pass protection is also a big issue against DeMarcus Ware and company, with the Bears surrendering 11 sacks so far.”
