Chiefs-Patriots NFL Week 1 Betting Line at New England -7.5

The early line on the Chiefs-Patriots Week 1 game was New England -7 and had moved up to -7.5 heading into Mid-July.

This is a revenge game for the Chiefs, who lost to the Patriots in New England during the Playoffs in 2016 by seven points.  KC had destroyed the Pats at home two years earlier.

In all home games last season, the Patriots went 6-4 Against The Spread using the current number of 7.5.  Taking the Pats would be more tempting had the line been -7 as they did win three games at home by that number and we would have been looking at a 6-2-2 ATS record using the current number.

The Patriots are 18-6-2 ATS in their last 26 home games while the Chiefs are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 road games.
